Why I Chose To Practice in Mental Health
Growing up, Zani became aware of the negative stigma that often surrounded mental health. She noticed that many cultures, including her own, sometimes treated mental health as a taboo topic. This realization inspired her to learn more about the field and to dedicate herself to raising awareness about the importance of emotional well-being.
Zani made it her mission to help individuals from all backgrounds feel comfortable seeking therapy without shame or guilt. She strives to normalize the experience of mental health care—believing that, just as visiting a medical doctor for physical health is routine, seeking therapy for mental and emotional well-being should feel equally natural and accepted.

She feels grateful to play a role in helping individuals rediscover their voices when they feel silenced, providing a safe space for them to share their stories through both joy and hardship, and witnessing their transformation and resilience as they grow beyond what they once believed possible.
