Virtual Meeting Instructions

Your time is valuable and you have concerns that need to be addressed. We understand you may feel nervous about how to successfully access your telemedicine appointment, especially given how technologies are changing daily.  Rest assured that we take extra lengths to minimize disruptions, in your schedule (and ours), to ensure everyone gets the care they hope for and deserve.


For your convenience, Evolve Psychiatry sends out automatic email and SMS reminders that direct patients to our telemedicine platform. You can seamlessly access your appointment, regardless of your location, device, and comfort level with using technology. You can use a computer, tablet, or smartphone device or even your home phone if you like!  


How To Start Your Visit

1. Look for an SMS reminder approximately ten minutes prior to the start of your visit time.

2. Click on the link to access the virtual front office waiting room.

3. After the virtual check-in, you will be transferred to your provider's HIPAA-compliant virtual office.

4. While you are waiting for your provider, please run a pre-call test on your device to make sure your browser has access to your microphone and camera.

5. You can send your provider a chat message to let them know if you're having any trouble with the connection.

Back Up Option 1

1. If the connection is poor, your provider will send you a link to their backup Google Meet videoconferencing room.

2. Click the Google Meet link OR copy the invitation link and paste it to a compatible web browser, such as Chrome.

3. Click the Join meeting now button

4. Confirm your audio and video settings are both turned on

If Google Meet is also problematic, wait for a call from our front office to connect you to your provider by phone.
