Background
I was born in Texas, raised in the wonderful state of Georgia, and made my way back to Texas in 2024. For the past 11 years, I’ve worked as a nurse and nurse practitioner across a variety of settings—including psychiatry, medical-surgical units, women’s health, and urgent/family care clinics.
Throughout these diverse experiences, I’ve had the privilege of caring for individuals from all walks of life. No matter the setting, I found a common thread: the essential need for mental health support. This realization led me to follow my passion and pursue a career as a psychiatric nurse practitioner.
Why I chose to work in behavioral health: It has been an incredibly fulfilling journey to help patients navigate their mental health, and I remain committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to those I serve.
