I was born overseas to a Taiwanese mother and American father. However, I grew up in Galveston, Texas and have lived in Texas my whole life. I am lucky to be married to my best friend and we currently live in Mckinney, Texas. My husband and I have two “babies.” Our oldest is a mini aussie mix named Belinni who is the sweetest girl! Our youngest is a black cat named Hades and he is an absolute menace - there are no regrets there though.
During my undergraduate studies, my father unexpectedly passed away and this was one of the most difficult times for me. The support I received from mental/behavioral health services made all the difference to my life and my ability to continue through my studies.
