Join our team at Evolve Psychiatry and play a pivotal role in providing compassionate and comprehensive therapeutic services to children, adolescents, adults, elderly, couples, and families.

​We are seeking four highly skilled therapists or counselors who prioritize a patient-centered approach, emphasizing empathy, cultural competence, and evidence-based practices. We can either hire candidates individually or onboard a group of interested individuals, if desired. At least one of the counselors must be able to take on a hybrid supervisory/administrative role. 

The Ideal Candidate Will...

  • Demonstrate expertise in conducting assessments in a diverse mix of differential diagnoses and patient-centered treatment planning and implementing evidence-based interventions

  • Use empathetic motivational interview techniques and teaching-learning theory with patients and their families to influence patient outcomes

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of progress notes, treatment plans, and other required paperwork in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards

  • Understand basic medication management with a focus on minimizing polypharmacy and habit-forming substances

  • Consistently be available for patient encounters for the duration of the contracted hours

  • Show competency in multiple concurrent platforms such as EMR, email, calendar management, virtual meetings, virtual phone system (Google Workspace with potential migration to Microsoft 365)

  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in the provision of mental health services such as offering documentation for accommodations and disability

  • Function independently with regard to most clinical decision-making

  • Seek supervision, peer consultation, and interdisciplinary collaboration as appropriate

  • Collaborate with administrative teams to address scheduling changes, patient emergencies, patient care issues

  • Identify system-specific problems and participate in performance improvement processes

  • Maintain professional boundaries, manage ethical dilemmas, and prioritize self-care to prevent burnout

  • Attend ongoing professional development activities to stay informed about new developments in the field of mental health

  • Comply with organizational, departmental, state/federal guidelines & all regulatory agency policies and procedures

  • Meet credentialing requirements for all insurance panels we participate in

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bright personality focused on customer service to manage patient expectations

  • Excellent communication in both spoken and written correspondence (pronunciation, spelling, grammar, formatting)

  • Reliable organizational abilities to manage your time and tasks without needing micromanagement

  • Desire to work independently but collaborate with a light-hearted but hard-working and dedicated virtual team 

  • Resourcefulness in problem-solving both on your own and as part of a larger team

  • Ability to make critical decisions on your own in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

  • Maturity to accept responsibility for deficiencies and errors

  • Eagerness to learn about healthcare, mental health, and technology and ask for help and further guidance

  • Interest in embracing technology via new software integrations and process automation

  • Comfort with discretion regarding highly sensitive information, ensuring HIPAA compliance

Compensation

  • $60-$100K annually, depends on experience, contracted hours, pre-existing caseload transfer, and administrative responsibilities

  • W2 option includes with health/dental/vision/retirement, paid vacation

  • 1099 option: $45 to $70 / hour, 

  • Opportunities for additional supplemental income (performance bonus, supervision, administrative tasks)

  • Bonus for transferring existing caseload

Qualifications

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited institution

  • Minimum of three (3) years of post-graduate experience as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPC in an outpatient setting

  • Active and unrestricted TX and/or CA license and ability to obtain additional state licensure, as requested

Schedule

  • For 1099, minimum commitment of 32 hours per week

  • For W2, 40 hours per week

  • Choose your own hours between 8A and 7P Monday through Friday

  • Mid-February to early March 2025 start date
